Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles to support holistic infant development
- Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, behavior management, and childhood development milestones
- Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when applicable
- Foster strong communication with families to share insights on child welfare, developmental progress, and classroom experiences
- Manage classroom routines including lesson planning, activity setup, and maintaining a safe, clean environment aligned with childcare standards
- Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality education and care
- Incorporate teaching physical education and other interactive activities to promote motor skills development
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies for infants and toddlers
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education methods
- Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans that foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, Montessori methods, and standardized testing procedures relevant to early learners
- Prior experience in private school or daycare settings is preferred; certification in early childhood education is highly desirable
