Pay Rate: $18.00-$19.00 Per Hour (Armed or Unarmed Certification), increased rate w/LEO exp
Armed preferred but not required.
Schedule: Full time or Part Time
- Shift hours: 6PM-4AM
- Open availability: NIGHTS AND WEEKEND SHIFTS
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's license with good record
- Virginia DCJS certification a plus, if not must certify within 90 days
- ARMED applicants - Must have own duty belt, level 3 holster and the caliber firearm you qualified with. Please bring all gear (with the exception of the firearm to your interview)
- Must have smartphone with data plan that can download and use our mobile app
- Patrol Security Officers must be proactive. Patrol Security Officers must be able to conduct foot patrols of designated areas, scan checkpoints and report observations and actions taken along with photos to reports
- Our Patrol Security Officers respond to dispatch calls. Officers will engage and interact with persons and report activity along with observe and report actively on a clients property.
- Patrol Security Officers must be dependable, on-time, ready to work at their scheduled time and present themselves in a professional manner.

Position:
A Silbar Security Patrol Security Officer will conduct vehicle patrols in a marked company vehicle for a variety of properties throughout a shift. Patrol Officers will enforce clients property rules and regulations, conduct foot patrols of common areas, secure access points and safely respond to dispatched calls to a clients property.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive marked patrol vehicle on designated route
- Communicate via two-way radio with dispatchers and supervisors
- Safely respond to dispatched calls from clients property
- Foot patrol designated areas of clients property
- Utilize our mobile app to submit detailed and accurate reports for each property assigned according to the post orders
- Enforce our clients property rules and regulations
- Able to deescalate situations in a professional manner
