Job Overview
We are seeking a highly vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Officer to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by implementing comprehensive security measures. Your expertise in surveillance, and conflict management will ensure a secure environment for everyone. This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a frontline defender, utilizing your specialized skills in security operations, emergency response, and physical protection. All things needed can and will be taught on site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and ensure ongoing site security.
- Conduct access control on visitors, contractors, and vendors to verify identities and prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, utilizing skills in conflict management, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser deployment when necessary.
- Perform regular patrols of the premises, including building interiors and exterior grounds.
- Enforce access control protocols by verifying identification and managing entry points for personnel and visitors.
- Maintain detailed records of incident reports, CCTV footage logs, and background check documentation to ensure compliance with security policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable. But certs can be obtained through our in-house trainer.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention methods to monitor premises effectively.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or confrontations.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and collaborating with emergency responders or law enforcement agencies.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
