Candid Color Systems is seeking to add a Large Format Technician to our CNC department. Experience in Vector Software, Print Production, Print Finishing, & Pre-Press will be given preference.
Role
Assist with processing files for pre-press, sending files to print, and finishing products. This is a role for someone who likes staying active, working with their hands, and seeing a raw sheet of material turn into a finished, high-quality product. You will be working directly with our lead operators and prepress specialists to help us increase production throughput and maintain product quality, while learning and using advanced equipment, like our Zund Flatbed CNC Cutter and HP Large Format Flatbed printers.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Pre-Press Assistance Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop
- Machine Operation Zund Flatbed CNC Cutter HP Large Format Flatbed Printers
- Canon Colorado Large Format Roll-to-Roll Printers
- Various finishing machinery (Grommet Press, Cold Lamintor, etc.)
- Quality Analysis & Control
- Ensure that shipped products meet or exceed our quality requirements.
- You are the last set of eyes before our products get shipped out to our customers
- Packaging & Order Fulfillment
- Physical Activity
- Must be comfortable spending portions of your shift on your feet
- Must be comfortable with safely lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Managing consumable supplies and inventory levels
- Assist and support various departments with administrative tasks asneeded.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
