About the Role
We're hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the first voice our leads hear. You'll work our dialer to reach out to a pipeline of warm leads, get them engaged on the phone, verify their information, and set them up for a productive conversation with one of our Licensed Loan Officers.
You're the bridge between a lead and a closed loan — and how you handle that first call directly impacts the borrowers and our team. We're looking for someone who's sharp on the phone, organized, and ready to grow.
This role comes with a real path forward: top performers move into Loan Officer Assistant or Licensed Loan Officer roles, with full training and support provided.
What You'll Be Doing
- Make outbound calls using our dialer system to engage leads from our pipeline
- Build quick rapport and keep leads on the phone — this is sales-adjacent work
- Verify borrower information (contact details, loan interest, basic qualifying info) accurately and efficiently
- Warm-transfer qualified leads to Licensed Loan Officers
- Log every call and update lead status in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
- Follow up with leads who don't answer or need a callback — persistence matters here
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and energetic phone presence on every call
What We're Looking For
- Strong phone presence — comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Comfortable with rejection and able to stay upbeat call after call
- Detail-oriented — accurate data entry and verification matter
- Coachable and eager to learn the mortgage industry
- Prior call center, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- No mortgage experience necessary — we'll train you on the fundamentals
