Salary: $146,900–$198,000 annually (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (3-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday | Exempt (manager may assist staff as needed)

A leading regional healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services (RN) to oversee a high-performing perioperative department. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, patient safety, employee engagement, and financial performance across multiple surgical service lines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Arizona RN License (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of Surgical Nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a surgical setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee daily operations of Surgical Services
- Manage department budgets, staffing, scheduling, and productivity
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop nursing leaders and staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Monitor operational metrics and implement process improvements
- Oversee supply management, vendor relationships, and capital equipment
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture
Pay: $146,900.00 - $198,000.00 per year
