**Job Description: Guest Services & Reservations Agent (FT) (HOSPITALITY)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience throughout their stay. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression of our establishment and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, accurately recording necessary information and processing payments according to established procedures.

Provide information to guests about properties, services, and local attractions to enhance their overall experience.

Handle guest/homeowner requests and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved to their satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions to assist guests in making informed decisions.

Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and helpful manner, providing information and assistance as required.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and prepared for incoming guests. (operations)

Assist with the reservation process, modifying reservations as needed, and accurately inputting guest information into the property management system, as well as collecting payment.

Process arrival calls, messages, and email for guests to ensure a seamless check in experience

Maintain a well-organized and clean front desk area, including supplies and informational materials.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Adhere to STR policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, ensuring the security of guest information and property.

Assist with training and mentoring new front desk staff as needed.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Proficient computer skills, including experience with property management systems

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and services to assist guests with recommendations.
