Kno-Ho-Co Ashland CAC Head Start is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring Nutrition Manager (Cook) to join our team at our Millersburg Head Start Center!

- Starting wage: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do
As our Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for Head Start children while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing meals and snacks according to Head Start nutrition guidelines and established menus
- Following food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Maintaining accurate food and kitchen records
- Monitoring food supplies and assisting with ordering and inventory
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment, and food preparation areas clean and sanitary
- Working cooperatively with teachers and center staff
- Creating a positive mealtime experience for children
- Following all Head Start, CAC, and applicable food service requirements

- Reliable and dependable

- Comfortable preparing meals in a kitchen setting
- Friendly, positive, and willing to be part of a team
- Comfortable working around young children
- Committed to food safety and sanitation
- Able to follow menus, recipes, policies, and procedures
ServSafe certification is required.
Experience in food service, childcare nutrition, school food service, or institutional cooking is a plus!
