Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
- Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Support store operations by stocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring proper merchandising standards
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are key
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership growth opportunities
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math enhances performance in this role
- Strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with customers are essential
- Experience in grocery store environments or familiarity with retail sales processes will be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
