Position Summary:
The Lab Technician will support charger setup, maintenance of cable qualification station, parts management area, as well as assist with screening and analysis of field-returned units under the direction of senior engineers.
Duration: 10 months
Responsibilities:
Assist with charger setup, teardown, and configuration in the lab environment
Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of lab equipment and test setups
Maintain lab equipment, tools, and work areas in operational condition
Support screening of field-returned chargers to identify failure symptoms
Assist with basic failure analysis activities under guidance from system, quality, and reliability engineers
Document test results, observations, and findings as required
Follow lab safety, ESD, and quality procedures
Required Experience / Skills
Associate degree or technical training in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Basic knowledge of electronic components, test equipment, and lab practices
Ability to follow documented procedures and work under engineering guidance
Good documentation and communication skills
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to perform repetitive, labor-intensive tasks
