Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces. Travel between Canyon, Tx and Amarillo, Tx REQUIRED!
Duties
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, including the use of specialized equipment.
- Maintain floor care through buffing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for replenishment.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting or minor repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and facility occupants.
Hours
- Tuesday and Thursday(work must be completed between 7:30am to 5pm)
