- Build integrity into products by reviewing and validating assembly documentation
- Safeguard processes by observing assembly, lay-up, and torque operations
- Protect conformance through dimensional inspections on components and final assemblies
- Maintain supply quality with incoming inspections of raw materials and piece-parts
- Translate specifications, drawings, and tolerances into clear pass/fail decisions
- Create traceability via detailed logs, graphs, reports, and entries into local systems
- Flex to support additional quality tasks as directed
- Dimensional verification using calipers, micrometers, gauges, DMMs, and CMM
- Review of assembly instructions and engineering drawings to execute inspections
- Communication of findings to technicians, engineers, and leadership
- Contribution to quality-centric practices and continuous adherence to standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years as a Quality Inspector in aerospace manufacturing or related industry
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and calibrated equipment
- Ability to inspect from assembly instructions and engineering drawings
- Technical and computer fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication at all levels
- Detail-driven mindset with a deep understanding of quality processes
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related
- ASQ certification
- AS9100 certification or experience with comparable aerospace quality systems
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Advanced skill interpreting technical documentation, blueprints, and engineering drawings
