Overview
The Director of Strategy for Kinship Health is responsible for leading the planning, development and execution of strategic growth initiatives related to PACE site-specifically CMS PACE applications for new PACE Centers. This position serves as the project lead for the preparation and submission of CMS and State regulatory applications ensuring organizational readiness for successful expansion. The Director of Strategy collaborates cross functionally with other members of the executive team to coordinate activities required to obtain regulatory approval.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to advance PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) initiatives, aligning with organizational mission and long-term objectives.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; develops strategic plans in support of business strategy and culture.
- Identify opportunities for growth and develop plans by researching and analyzing trends in the industry to develop proposals for new markets.
- Monitor regulatory and industry trends affecting PACE expansion initiatives.
- Evaluate potential business partnerships and decide which opportunities to pursue and associated risks/cost and benefits.
- Manages relationships with external consultants and regulatory advisors.
- Serves as project lead for CMS PACE application submission and State Readiness Reviews.
- Manages responses to CMS and State requests for additional information.
- Leads projects into new markets including Request for Applications (RFA), legislative changes, and/or regulatory applications.
- Creates and facilitates presentations to leadership and external stakeholders and reports on project progress.
- Maintain project plans, milestones, and progress updates to the management team.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees assigned.
- Participates in the National PACE Association to stay informed of public policy and new markets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Remains informed of changes in payer policies, regulations, and initiatives impacting the healthcare landscape.
- Management experience in healthcare settings, along with familiarity with PACE or similar senior care programs is REQUIRED.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- Experience in CMS PACE applications for new PACE Centers (REQUIRED)
- BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Management, or another related field.
- Strong understanding of Program of All – Inclusive for the Elderly (PACE) and its value for promoting optimal outcomes for high-risk elderly.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in health care setting, geriatric, or managed care experience preferred.
- Be able to create and develop business cases for executive leadership team.
- Experience in design or redesign of complex cross functional process flows.
- Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with high volume peaks while producing high quality work.
- Ability to successfully drive projects, processes and change management concepts in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally, and in writing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities with a history of revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
- Willing to travel up to 25% or as needed
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
