Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct 1:1 ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development across multiple domains, and ensure accurate data collection to monitor client progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Support development in communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Collect and maintain accurate session data and clinical notes
- Assist BCBAs with program implementation and updates
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding client progress
- Complete documentation in a timely manner in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and overall well-being
- Manage a consistent caseload aligned with organizational expectations
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with caregivers to support carryover of treatment strategies
- Represent INDESE professionally within the community
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Associate’s degree or coursework in psychology, child development, special education, or related field (preferred)
- Medicaid provider (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow clinical supervision and structured treatment plans
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within the Orlando / Orange County area
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Work conducted across home, school, and community settings
- Regular interaction with families and interdisciplinary teams
- May work with clients exhibiting challenging behaviors
- Requires punctual travel between assigned client locations
Schedule
- Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
- Schedule may vary based on client needs
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
