About the Role:
As Branch Manager, you'll drive growth, build customer partnerships, develop a talented team, and create a best-in-class customer experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who enjoys growing revenue, improving operations, solving customer challenges, and making a meaningful impact on the success of the business. In this role, success means building a strong, growing business, developing a highly engaged team, creating lasting customer partnerships, improving operational performance, and helping expand Ajax Rentals’ impact throughout Central Texas and beyond.
The Branch Manager will report to the General Manager and this position is part of the Ajax Rentals team located in Dallas, Texas. The Branch Manager will travel as business needs require with limited overnights for conferences and/or meeting customers at office locations.
What You'll Do
Grow the business by winning new customers and strengthening existing relationships.
Help customers solve challenges across environmental, industrial, utility, and construction markets.
Be the face in your region through customer engagement and industry networking.
Lead day-to-day branch operations to deliver a seamless customer experience with value-added solutions, championing a customer-first culture
Drive branch performance by improving revenue, profitability, and equipment utilization, monitoring operational metrics
Hire, coach, and develop a team that delivers outstanding results.
Foster a culture built on teamwork, integrity, continuous improvement, safety, and customer service, encouraging associate development
Ensure rental equipment is inspected, maintained, calibrated, and delivered according to company standards, maintaining a clean, organized, safety-focused operation
Partner with leadership to shape strategy, execute priorities, and support sustainable long-term growth.
Are you Qualified?
5+ years of leadership experience in branch management, operations, sales management, rental equipment, industrial services, environmental services, or a related industry.
Proven track record of growing revenue, improving profitability, and developing customer relationships.
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to balance commercial growth with operational excellence while driving continuous improvement.
Experience in industrial, environmental, rental, construction, water, instrumentation, or related customer-facing industries, with proficiency using CRM, ERP, and business reporting tools.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
