Remilia is building a consumer social platform where the social graph, long-form content, real-time chat, and a virtual economy operate on a shared data model.
We're looking for software engineers who move fast and care about craft, and are interested in joining a small team with end-to-end ownership — you may work on identity/auth, APIs, content systems, database architecture, client UI.
The engineering problems are interesting: graph queries on a relational database, real-time presence, content systems that outlive their feeds.
Stack is intentionally boring technology, modular monolith: Go, SQLite, TypeScript/React.
You have:
A portfolio of interesting work
Experience shipping features end to end
Founding-engineer or 0 1 experience on small teams
Background or interest working in any of the following:
Real-time systems (WebSockets, fanout, presence)
Systems programming (C/C++/Rust)
Relational schema (data modeling, indexing, query design)
Media pipelines (upload, processing, delivery)
In-game social systems, chat, community, or UGC products
Not this role: platform engineering, distributed systems, SRE, AI/ML research.

Small team with opportunity for high impact
Ambitious Xanadu/Semantic Web inspired product
Benefits:
Seed stage equity
