Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience within a Cath Lab environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams under high-pressure situations
- Adaptable communication and critical thinking skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and record patient vitals, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate closely with physicians and Cath Lab technologists for effective procedure and patient management
- Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care protocols
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation
