Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected for each shipment.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory efficiently to optimize space and facilitate quick order fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and data entry using systems such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software or AS400.
- Support warehouse distribution processes by loading and unloading trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory counting and order calculations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stocking, picking & packing, and order fulfillment tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
