**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations and contributing to the growth and success of our restaurant. A flexible schedule is preferred to ensure store needs are met to adapt to sales.
**Duties:**
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, labor costs and food cost.
- Lead and supervise a team, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their performance.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities between shifts.
- Utilize leadership skills to motivate and direct the team to meet sales goals and increase profitability.
- Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Use POS systems to track sales, manage inventory, and process transactions accurately.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and training to improve their skills.
- Assist in managing employee performance and addressing any disciplinary issues.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in management, preferably with a strong background in leadership and sales is welcome but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with inventory control and management.
- Proficiency with POS systems and ability to learn new technologies.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring staff members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
