What You'll Do
As a Law Clerk, you'll become an integral member of our litigation team by:
- Conducting legal research on federal and state employment laws, procedural issues, and emerging legal developments
- Drafting legal memoranda, research summaries, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Reviewing client files, intake materials, pleadings, discovery, and supporting evidence to become familiar with assigned cases
- Assisting attorneys with case strategy by identifying relevant legal authority and analyzing complex legal issues
- Reviewing local court rules, standing orders, and individual judges' procedures
- Assisting with discovery, document review, and trial preparation
- Helping prepare legal analyses, position statements, and briefing on contested legal issues
- Proofreading and cite-checking legal filings to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Attending attorney strategy meetings and collaborating with litigation teams on active cases
Qualifications
We're looking for students who have:
- Completed at least one year of law school (2Ls and 3Ls preferred; exceptional 1Ls will also be considered)
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced litigation environment
- A collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Law Review, Journal, Moot Court, or Mock Trial experience
- Judicial internship or externship experience
- Prior legal internship or clerkship experience
- Interest in litigation, employment law, or class action practice
Previous wage and hour experience is not required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation: $20-$23 per hour, based on experience and academic standing
