As a member of our front-of-house team, you'll play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring every guest feels welcome.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Greet and escort guests to their tables
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system (Square or Toast experience is a plus)
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Make recommendations for menu items and complementary products
- Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues with a positive attitude
- Process guest payments accurately
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Follow all food safety and health department regulations
- Attend pre-shift meetings and stay informed about menu updates and special events
- Provide exceptional service to all guests, including families, seniors, and guests with special needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a restaurant server, host, or hostess preferred
- Experience using POS systems such as Square or Toast is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Team-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Handler Card/Food Safety certification is a plus
