Customer Service and Sales Support
Position Summary
This role will be the first point of contact for FA Outdoor Spaces. Answers and routes all incoming calls, greets and assists customers, manages inbound leads, and delivers a professional, welcoming experience at every touchpoint—by phone, email, and in person. Also supports home shows and community events. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and thrives on customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
Call Handling & Reception
- Answer all incoming company calls promptly and courteously; route each to the correct person or department (sales, operations, permitting).
- Take clear, accurate messages and follow up to confirm they reach the right person.
- Manage the general voicemail and info inbox, responding or forwarding same-day.
Customer Service & Lead Support
- Respond to leads and inquiries from all channels (Website, Facebook, Trex, TimberTech, Home Depot, Lowe's, and others); contact new leads promptly to schedule consultations.
- Answer customer questions about products, scheduling, and next steps with warmth and professionalism.
- Log every contact, inquiry, and outcome accurately in the CRM.
- Follow up on open items so no customer or lead is left waiting.
Home Show & Event Support
- Help plan, set up, staff, and break down home shows, trade shows, and community events.
- Collect and organize event-generated leads for prompt follow-up.
- Maintain displays, brochures, and promotional materials in presentable, stocked condition.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of office experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- A warm, professional phone and in-person manner
- Comfortable with CRM and basic office software
- Able to juggle calls, walk-ins, and tasks at once
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to help with event setup (occasional lifting)
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support diverse client needs
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
