Member Duties : The Food & Wellness VISTA will serve with the Kellyn Foundation to expand programs that promote healthy lifestyles and reduce food insecurity in the community. The VISTA will increase awareness and engagement in the Farm to Neighborhood Program, develop and implement educational programming focused on school gardens, nutrition, and healthy living, and build organizational capacity by creating a structured volunteer recruitment and training system. They will also develop a marketing and engagement plan that equips community members, partners, and staff with tools and processes for effective social media use to increase public awareness and participation. This is a full-time, one-year service opportunity based in Tatamy, Pennsylvania.
