DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for dependable, experienced groundmen to join our crew who would like to build a career in our tree service industry and help maintain our 5-star ratings from our wowed customers.
We are located in South Charlotte, NC and service residential and commercial clients.
We have the best new equipment, year-round work, good pay, and opportunities for promotion.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Proficiency at tree cutting and handling ropes, tying knots, etc.
- Minimum of (5) years working on a tree crew.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
DUTIES:
- Will vary depending on skills.
- Remove, deadwood and prune trees, drag limbs, clear debris, rake, blow, sweep and clean-up job site.
- Operate a variety of power equipment depending on skills, including bucket truck, dingo, chippers, chainsaws and etc...
- Drive trucks and trailers to job site.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean, professional manner.
- Prepare equipment on a daily basis to be as productive as possible on-site including fueling, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance in a regular proactive manner.
- Ability to follow instructions and clearly communicate effectively with teammates.
- Contribute to a safe work environment for employees and customers, staying alert while on the job, listening to crew leader’s directions, and following safety measures and guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and bring a positive attitude to the job each day.
