Leading multi-state debt collection and subrogation law firm seeking motivated litigation paralegal with legal drafting as well project management/coordination/supervisory experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑volume, detail‑driven legal environment and has a strong understanding of civil procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
Tasks will include drafting legal pleadings, filing/docketing/scheduling, project management/development, communicating with counsels, assisting with other legal assistants, training on legal pleading drafting, etc.
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience. Minimum of 2 year experience required as a paralegal.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents across several state courts
- Assist attorneys with case management, research, and litigation support
- Manage deadlines, hearings, and court calendars
- Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within firm systems
- Support compliance with state‑specific regulations and firm policies
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience required
- Knowledge of civil litigation, collections, or creditor rights is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with legal software and electronic filing systems
