Aristos Rehabilitation and Nutrition Center, a premier healthcare provider in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a talented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a valued member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met with care and compassion.
About the Role:
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our dietary department. Your primary duties will include:
Assisting with food preparation and support in the kitchen
Maintaining a clean and organized food service environment
Assisting with food delivery and collection of trays
Interacting with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner
Participating in quality control and food safety initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and preparing simple meals and snacks
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and supplies
- Assist with food delivery and collection of trays, ensuring resident satisfaction and comfort
- Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner
- Participate in quality control and food safety initiatives, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare industry preferred
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
