Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to oversee our fiber internet installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate field operations for fiber optic installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with operations managers, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of installation projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during installation or maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in fiber optic installation or telecommunications.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of fiber optics, telecommunications equipment, and installation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
