Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Class B Driver and become a vital part of our logistics and transportation operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks, including mobile shredding trucks and box trucks. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries and efficient load handling. Duties
- Safely operate a range of trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Load and unload materials using manual lifting techniques or specialized equipment, ensuring secure and balanced cargo
- Lift, push, pull, carry, load and unload various containers weighing up to 250ibs, sometimes up and down stairs.
- Drive confidently across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and company schedules to deliver goods punctually
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure optimal performance
- Assist with the maintenance of trucks by applying mechanical knowledge for minor repairs or reporting major issues to maintenance teams
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilizing appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other documentation required for compliance
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers
- Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo safely using manual lifting or mechanical aids
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on trucks
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles in various conditions
- Prior experience with delivery driving or logistics operations preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and vehicle operation in diverse environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license required depending on vehicle type
- Work schedule: Monday-Friday 7a.-3:30p.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
