Battle Copacking is seeking a Machine Operator with a positive attitude and wanting to grow with the company. We are a Beverage Copacking facility so this will be a wet environment from time to time. Working on the 3rd Shift or 11PM - 7AM (M-F).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to troubleshoot problems with equipment
- Quality oriented with materials and product
- Maintain necessary logs for daily and hourly tasks
- Master sanitation tasks fulfilled during shift
- Other duties may be assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or related work experience
- Operators are expected to maintain attendance in accordance with policy
- Willing to cross train on multiple pieces of equipment and tasks
- Required to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and 50 lbs + occasionally
Machine Operator
- Hand eye coordination with multiple moving parts.
- Loading equipment repetitively with raw materials.
- Multitask with different operations on a piece of equipment.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness during shift.
- Work with Maintenance on troubleshooting and diagnosis.
- Keep up with hourly paperwork and logs.
- Help promote a safe, quality and efficient work environment.
- Attend pre-shift meetings with team.
- Assist QA/QC Technicians with samples.
- Reports directly to Line Supervisor/Lead.
- Adheres to ALL company policies including GMP/PPE.
- Able to work on different pieces of equipment by request of Line Lead/Supervisor.
- Operator will identify non-conforming materials and report accordingly.
- Basic typing, math and writing skills.
- Able to work 12 hour shifts and some weekends.
