Alexandre Law Firm is a traditional immigration law firm with two offices in Los Angeles and New York. Our main goal is to help our clients achieve their lifelong dreams through personalized strategies that consider the best options for immigration to the United States.
We are currently expanding our team and seeking a creative and detail-oriented full-time Paralegal who is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese for our office in the City of Industry, CA.
Please note that while we have listed the requirements below, we are also happy to offer training to those who are willing to learn.
- Experience as Immigration Paralegal (Experience with removal cases, Asylum, EOIR, BIA)
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases
- Strong research, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Able to work well under pressure and deadlines
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
Day to day:
- Legal research
- Draft legal documents, reports, and letters
- Correspond with clients and assist them in gathering evidence
- Fill out immigration forms
- Prepare packages to be sent to immigration
- Communicate with USCIS
- Organize files
- Docketing events
- Some office administrative work
