Arizona Placement Concepts has been providing exceptional employment services to individuals with disabilities for 17 years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Coach to join our team in Tucson, AZ.
Job Overview:
As a Job Coach, you will supervise and train high school graduates and adults with special needs in a simulated work environment, providing the support they need to succeed. You will work directly with clients at their preferred job sites, helping them develop the skills necessary for future competitive employment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise clients at their job sites, providing coaching and guidance.
- Train individuals in job-related skills to enhance their success in the workplace.
- Assess clients’ progress and adapt training methods as needed.
- Cover shifts for employee call-outs as needed.
- Ensure clients meet their goals and objectives for employment.
- Be able to fill out documentation accurately and with the appropriate grammar
Requirements:
- Current Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Education & Experience (must meet one of the following):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) AND 3 years of full-time experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Master’s Degree in a related field AND 1 year of full-time experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Associate Degree in a related field AND 1 year of full-time experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Working Conditions:
- Work takes place at job training sites and within the community.
