Position Summary:
Peachtree Catering & Events is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Off-Premise Sales Manager to lead the growth of our off-site catering business. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building client relationships, creating exceptional event experiences, and identifying new business opportunities.
As the primary point of contact for our off-premise catering clients, you will guide events from the initial inquiry through contract execution, collaborating with our culinary, operations, and event teams to ensure every event reflects the high standards of the Peachtree brand.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by cultivating relationships, networking within the hospitality industry, and partnering with the marketing team to drive qualified leads.
- Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through event execution, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Lead the development, planning, and coordination of off-premise catering events while collaborating with internal departments.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding event goals, offering creative solutions, and delivering exceptional service throughout the planning process.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, revisions, and event documentation using Reserve Interactive/INFOR software.
- Maintain accurate event pricing and assist with annual pricing reviews in alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee event billing to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Partner with Operations, Culinary, and Executive Leadership to ensure staffing, logistics, and event execution meet Peachtree's service standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop customized menus and recommend enhancements based on client needs and industry trends.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximize profitability by identifying operational efficiencies and menu synergies across events.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Continuously evaluate Peachtree's catering offerings and recommend improvements that enhance quality, innovation, and competitiveness.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to department planning and strategy.
- Support teammates and assist with additional projects as business needs require.
Qualifications:
- Experience in catering, hospitality, event sales, or a related client-facing sales environment preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with standard business technology, including Microsoft Office, email, internet applications, and office equipment; experience with Reserve Interactive/INFOR or similar event management software is a plus.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional on-call availability as business demands require.
