Job Summary
Join our busy new location as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience! In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are promptly cleared, reset, and ready for new guests. You will also assist in delivering food and beverages efficiently from the kitchen to our valued guests, creating a seamless dining experience. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This position receives an hourly wage plus tip out from the service staff.
Duties
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld during handling and serving of dishes
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and bussing tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and utensils to promote a hygienic environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and guest satisfaction
- Assist with banquet or special event setups, ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen support is a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of hospitality standards gained through hotel or culinary experience is advantageous
