EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Job Duties
- Schedule and conduct safety orientation for all OTIC projects.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of OTIC job sites and active construction projects.

Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Prepare inspection reports, document findings, and track follow-up actions.

Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees and contractors.

Maintain consistent communication with project and OTIC Maintenance teams to support safe work practices.

Provide on-site safety support and guidance to Maintenance, Engineering, and Construction personnel.

Participate in incident investigations and assist in developing preventive measures

Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and facilities.

Support OTIC field operations for major incidents or any other situation deemed as critical.
Major Worker Characteristics

Experience conducting safety audits or inspections.
-
Familiarity with infrastructure or roadway construction projects.

Basic knowledge of safety training methods and documentation.

Ability to work outdoors in severe weather conditions.
-
Ability to walk job sites, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
