What You’ll Do
- Receive, review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Process accounts payable transactions, including checks, wire transfers and electronic payments
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Research and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, payments and account balances
- Enter financial data into accounting systems and general ledger applications
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Generate reports and compile financial data using accounting software and spreadsheets
- Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, vendors and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account management or related accounting experience required
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
