JOB TITLE: Service Manager (Electrical 0-600 volt)
SCOPE OF WORK:
Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical industry. Our reach primarily covers schools, commercial, and light industrial.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete service work orders received from customers by Service Coordinator. Assign and supervise other Service Technicians. Assist with estimating as required for projects that require the Service Department. Walk through potential projects to assess current and desired state to assist with estimation. Must have knowledge of what skills, tools and equipment will be required to safely and successfully complete work. Must be able to effectively lay out workers to complete work in the most efficient manner. Service Manager will report directly to Vice President of Business Services as required and provide monthly activity and sales reports and other information as assigned by Vice President.

PRELIMINARY EXPECTATIONS
1. OSHA 30. Or must be able to obtain within 90 days.
2. A current Journeyman’s or Masters license or verifiable equivalent experience.
3. Interact professionally with customers and co-workers
4. Execute a project from start to finish, from quoting to collecting payment
5. Fill out work orders on a digital tablet and maintain daily
6. Maintain accurate daily timesheets
7. Training of apprentice(s) to learn service.
8. Maintain clean and professional appearance of any company tools and vehicle
9. Keep thorough records of company vehicle maintenance
10. Drive and be responsible for a service van while following Fleet Policy Procedures.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Job requires working in all elements, depending on the project
2. Job requires employee to have required personal tools with them at all times
3. Perform work at various heights, safely using ladders, scaffolds, cat walks or other safe work areas, and up to 90' from aerial lifts.
4. Work in restricted areas (switchgear room, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics).
5. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required.
6. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
7. Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime and at night as needed.
8. Current Driver's License
PHYSICAL FUNCTION:
1. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
2. Lift 51 pounds.
3. Constantly moving on feet.
4. Climb ladders (all types).
5. Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide birth certificate and current driver’s license
2. High School diploma or GED; high school transcript
3. Evidence of previous experience in the electrical field (if any)
4. Letter of recommendation from previous or present employer
5. DD214 (if veteran)
6. Pass drug test
7. Must have clear background check to allow work in Public School sectors
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
