Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor vital signs regularly and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all care activities .
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, employing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure comfort and safety .
- Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and hydration needs while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Engage residents through social activities, companionship, and emotional support to promote mental health and social well-being.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, assisting with cleaning duties, and ensuring all safety measures are followed diligently.
- Cook and prepare meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner .

Position Details
- Hourly Rate: $18.00/hour
- Schedule: 30-40 hours per week
- Shift Types: Variable – must be available for some fill-in, or urgent shifts
- This is a 24 Hour / Residential Care Facility for the Elderly
Requirements
- 1 Year Experience
- Flexible Availability
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of elder care practices including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for roles involving transportation or community outings.
