Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular experience for a hospital operating room position.

Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Cares for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients with a 1:1 patient ratio
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 3-4 weeks
Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
Epic charting system experience required

Active RN license (GA or Compact) required at time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
Required experience with cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
Experience with procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, VAD, carotid endarterectomy, and VATS
Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred

Perform scrub duties for complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized prior to submission
No RTO permitted during orientation week
Shift and schedule are firm with no alternate schedule requests accepted
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Previous Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
Travelers previously unable to return to a facility must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before rebooking
