The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Coon Rapids is currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our dedicated and professional team. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and confident throughout their stay.
Job Summary
As a Housekeeper, you play a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. Your attention to detail and pride in your work directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall success of our hotel. We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take ownership of their work and enjoy being part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to company and brand standards
- Change linens, make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, and replenish amenities
- Ensure all assigned rooms meet quality and presentation standards before completion
- Follow daily room assignments using Quore on provided tablets
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly through Quore
- Restock housekeeping carts with linens, amenities, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and housekeeping spaces
- Follow proper chemical handling, safety, and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with laundry and additional housekeeping duties as needed
- Greet guests politely and respond to basic requests professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Experience preferred — training provided
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial equipment is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality environments or industrial cleaning settings is a plus
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and procedures is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
