We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Lead Designer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
As the Lead Designer of Pop Balloon Bar, you will wear many hats and be an integral part of our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Event Design and Delivery:
- Event design: Work with clients to create custom balloon arrangements and event décor that suit their themes and preferences.
- Delivery coordination: Serve as the **primary delivery driver**, ensuring timely and safe delivery of event décor and balloon installations.
- On-site event setup: Set up balloon displays, decorations, and installations at event venues. Ensure high-quality execution and customer satisfaction.
- Client communication: Work closely with clients to confirm event details, discuss ideas, and provide expert advice on event design and decoration options.
-Manage inventory: Order, stock, and track balloons and other event-related items.
Team Leadership:
- Lead by example: Train and mentor staff in customer service, sales, and event setup.
- Ensure a positive team culture: Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment where team members are motivated to perform at their best.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain records: Keep track of event bookings, deliveries, and customer preferences in our system.
- Manage budgets and expenses: Assist in budget management for events, ordering supplies, and managing costs effectively.
- Marketing support: Help promote the store and event services through social media, local partnerships, and community engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven management experience, preferably in retail, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and event clients.
- Creative flair with an eye for design, especially in event decoration and balloon artistry.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for event deliveries).
- Ability to lift and carry event equipment (up to 50 lbs) and set up large balloon displays.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, especially for event deliveries and installations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in event planning or party rental industries.
- Basic knowledge of event decor.
- Experience with scheduling and inventory management software (CRM and POS)
- Previously led a team
