This is clerical and investigative work in evidentiary database management for the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. Work involves the application of investigative techniques and specialized evidentiary database knowledge for the processing of digital media records requests to assist the State Attorney’s Office, private law firms, civilians, and various law enforcement entities by providing relevant digital evidence in both civil and criminal proceedings.
Duties include receiving public records requests for digital evidence telephonically, verbally, and electronically, researching the request, organizing the information, and producing a product to deliver to the requester.
Duties occasionally require repeated exposure to psychologically harmful evidentiary digital media.
