Are you a people person who loves connecting talent with opportunity? As a Driver Recruiter, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for professional drivers, guiding them from first conversation through day one on the job. Your work directly impacts the safety, reliability, and growth of our fleet.
What you’ll do
In this role you will:
Attract and engage professional drivers
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
- Write and post compelling job ads that stand out in a competitive market
- Quickly respond to inquiries and keep candidates updated at every step
Guide drivers through the hiring process
- Conduct phone screens to understand experience, preferences, and fit
- Clearly explain routes, schedules, pay structure, and benefits
- Schedule interviews, road tests, and orientation, making the process as smooth as possible
Ensure safety and compliance
- Coordinate background checks, MVR reviews, and drug screens
- Verify CDL and endorsement requirements
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in our recruiting system
Partner with operations and leadership
- Work closely with terminal/operations managers to understand staffing needs
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, time-to-fill, and hiring challenges
- Share market insights and candidate feedback to help improve our driver experience

What we’re looking for
You may be a great fit if you have:
- Experience in driver recruiting, transportation, logistics, staffing, or high-volume recruiting
- Strong phone and communication skills with a friendly, professional approach
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage many candidates and openings at once
- Basic tech skills and experience using ATS/CRM tools and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Associates degree or 2 years of relevant experience
Nice to have:
- Experience recruiting CDL drivers or working in a trucking/transportation environment
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus
