Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Installer / Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of glass and related fixtures across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure precise measurements, seamless installations, and high-quality craftsmanship that meet safety standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Measure window openings, glass panels, and framing structures accurately to ensure proper fitment and alignment.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute installations effectively.
- Install windows, glass panels, mirrors, shower enclosures, and other glass fixtures following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and metal stud framing techniques to cut, shape, and assemble glass components.
- Perform quality control checks by verifying measurements and ensuring the integrity of each installation or repair.
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques to achieve a polished finish.
- Assist with remodeling projects involving cabinet installation, door hanging, drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, and metal stud framing as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, window installation, or related trades with a focus on glass or fixture installation.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment for precise work.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during measurements and installations.
- Familiarity with remodeling processes including carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), drywall finishing, painting, and fixture mounting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly.

Pay: $25.54 - $30.76 per hour
