Make a real impact in education by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in Boulder, Colorado. This contract position places you directly onsite within school environments and offers the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals and students in need of behavioral health support. Key Qualifications:
- Completion of RBT training (active certification not required).
- At least two years of hands-on experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and classroom management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively as either a floater or within an intensive classroom environment.
- Flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated—especially important, as one location does not have a BCBA supervisor on site.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral interventions in a high school intensive classroom or as a floater supporting multiple classrooms as needed.
- Implement individualized behavior plans and reinforce positive student behavior.
- Accurately collect and maintain data on students’ progress and behavioral outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other school staff to ensure cohesive support.
- Maintain a professional and supportive presence in all assigned schools.
- Respond adaptively to student needs and shifting daily priorities.
This contract runs through May 2027, offering stability and a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week (35 paid, accounting for lunch breaks). The assignment is strictly onsite, allowing you to build meaningful, in-person relationships.
