Social All Day is a café & bar focused on providing optimal guest experience. We are small, chef-driven café looking for an enthusiastic bartenders & servers to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. At Social All Day, we operate on a tip pool system, thus; cross training and finding people that are team players is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and creating delicious beverages in a fast-paced café environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting menu items
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Work closely with our beverage director to craft cocktails, understand our beer and wine program.
- Willingness to work anywhere on the floor, whether it be behind the bar, running food or beverage, etc.
- Operate the POS system to process orders and handle payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food and beverages
- Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions and cash accurately
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with café equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Familiarity with bar equipment such as jiggers, shakers, strainers, wine keys.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
