Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is seeking two experienced LPNs to provide one-on-one care for medically involved students, including monitoring their health needs and ensuring their safety both in the classroom and during bus transportation.

What We’re Looking For:
- Current and active Georgia LPN license is required
- Previous employment supporting medically fragile or special education students is highly valued
- Comfortable and experienced with g-tube and trach care
- Prior pediatric, special education, or school-based nursing experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to resourcefully collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) is preferred
- Strong documentation practices to accurately record student progress and care
- Ability to provide three professional references (including a recent supervisor) for interview consideration
Duties Will Include:
- Deliver direct care to two specific students
- Ride the school bus to and from school to provide continuous support
- Implement physician-directed care plans and respond quickly to medical needs
- Maintain thorough documentation on services rendered
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, school nurse, parents, and district staff
- Promote student well-being, safety, and participation in daily educational activities
