This is a private dermatology and aesthetic practice in Vestavia Hills. It will be an elite, private clinic. Seeking a sharp, highly professional Medical Assistant with phlebotomy skills to manage our daily patient workflow, clinical documentation, and front-line patient communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical & Procedural Assisting: Assist directly during procedures including injectables. Help keep patient comfortable and prep procedures, as well.
- Phlebotomy: Perform blood draws (venipuncture) to support specialized Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies.
- Clinical Scribing: Act as a real-time scribe during patient visits, accurately documenting clinical assessments, treatment details, and injectable lot numbers directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Patient Coordination & Phones: Answer incoming inquiries with a premium concierge tone, manage the digital booking schedule, handle patient callbacks, and relay medical/cosmetic pre- and post-care information.
- Lounge Operations: Welcome patients as they transition into our Patient Lounge, and handle basic digital check-in or checkout administrative duties as needed to guarantee a seamless patient experience.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Verified Phlebotomy Skills (Mandatory): Must possess an active Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)
- Elite Professionalism: Polished interpersonal communication, and absolute confidentiality to match a luxury-tier private patient base.
- Strong Technical Literacy: Quick to learn cloud-based EHR platforms, automated iPad check-in kiosks, and modern digital phone/text communication routing.
- Dermatology/Aesthetic Experience: A plus, but not required. If you have a stellar work ethic and willing to be trained to assist in these procedures, this will be great.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
