Overview

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, ensuring consistent delivery of top-tier cleaning services across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures aligned with hospitality industry best practices
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and equipment to optimize resources and reduce waste
- Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and excellent customer service
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee laundry operations including sorting, washing, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest experience
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with laundry processes specific to hospitality or healthcare settings
- Background in hotel operations or hospitality management preferred
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and workplace safety regulations
