Home for Life Animal Sanctuary has an open part time- full time position for a nights on call animal care specialist, 3rd shift, providing security and light overnight care to cats and dogs who reside at a care for life animal sanctuary near Star Prairie, WI. Duties include completing rounds to make sure the animals are safe and secure, overflow laundry, light office duty, and overnight care and observation of any animals who need extra attention overnight. Some driving to pick up food, bring animals to the veterinarian and other driving may be available for additional hours if desired .
Typical weekly schedule :
Wednesday Thursday, Friday nights: 7 pm- 7 am
Every other Saturday evening 7 pm to 7 am.
This is a great, relaxing 3rd shift job for a student, retired person or anyone who loves animals, and have time for reading or studying (wifi available at the sanctuary) and who wants to make a difference. Candidates must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and must be responsible, mature, punctual and reliable, in good physical condition and able to work in all weather conditions. Experience working with animals preferred but not required. . Criminal background check required.
