Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and community-driven Outreach Coordinator to support the growth and visibility of our Medicaid-based behavioral health services in the Dallas area. This position will begin as part-time (minimum 25 hours per week) with strong potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and organizational growth.
The Outreach Coordinator will work both in the office and throughout the community to build strategic partnerships, increase referrals, and expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, clinics, hospitals, probation offices, and social service agencies
- Educate community stakeholders about Medicaid-based behavioral health services
- Conduct outreach presentations and attend networking events
- Build referral pipelines to increase client enrollment
- Track outreach efforts, referral sources, and outcomes
- Assist with marketing initiatives and community engagement strategies
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth referral processes
- Maintain organized records of contacts, events, and partnerships
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicaid-based behavioral health services in Dallas, Texas (required)
- Experience in behavioral health, social services, healthcare outreach, or community engagement preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicaid systems and referral processes
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Professional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Reliable transportation for community outreach
- Proficient in basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, documentation)
Preferred Skills
- Existing community connections in Dallas behavioral health or social service networks
- Experience with client intake or referral coordination
- Marketing or business development experience in healthcare
